The "EELHA" was formed in 1980 to protect the rights of livestock and horse owners. The club is open to all livestock owners, enthusiasts and equestrians.
Our goals are to a promote and encourage members, youth of the community, and the general public, in the enjoyment, care, showing and recreational use of horses and livestock.
We encourage and provide a social and friendly exchange among our members and the public. We have four to five dinner meetings a year at local restaurants. We discuss news within the club, fundraisers, have guest speakers of various topics to educate all.

Friends of Connetquot.org 15th Annual Fun Ride

To benefit the miles of beautiful trails in Connetquot
Rain or Shine! Great Food, Fun ,Prizes in the Barn
Come join us for our 14th annual fun filled ride/hike through beautiful Connetquot Park Preserve. Enjoy the peaceful beauty of the trails & woodlands of the first NYS Preserve. The clubhouse will be open for tours. A leisurely ride or hike of a few miles will take you through some of the most historic trails on Long Island. There will be a Chinese Raffle for many wonderful prizes donated by generous friends. Every one receives 5 raffle tickets to start, plus the “Osprey” special for $20 The last riders will go out by 2p.m. so we can draw the winners at 3:30 p.m.
A donation of only $30 pre -paid by April 30th; $35 after April 30th. includes bagels and a sumptuous lunch buffet and dessert bar. Even if you do not ride, enjoy the company of great people like you. All profits will stay in Connetquot to enhance the preserve's many and varied programs and services. This is YOUR park preserve- please support it

Trader's Corral - Notice to Members

We will have THE TRADER'S CORRAL at all future dinner meetings.  If you have a horse or livestock related item, such as saddles, bridles, blankets or clothing, you can now sell or trade at our dinner meetings! You can save time and money because you don't have to travel west to the swap meets or pay table fees! 

Please tag all of your items with your name, phone number & prices!!!

If the item you bring does not fit on a table please bring a stand or something to use during the meeting to hold or display the item. For example, a saddle will require you to bring a stand.

PLEASE BRING ITEMS EARLY …"TRADER'S CORRAL" will be held from  6PM-7PM. One hour only! You may buy, sell, or trade! 10% of each sale will be donated back to East End Livestock & Horsemen's Association. So clean out your barns and closets, and bring it to the next meeting!  Items must be in good condition please! Have fun and see you there!!!
